    that is the dumbest advice/information i have ever heard.. if the excitement has died down after the second bird, perhaps you should look for a new hobby.

    i took 4 birds total my life .. the excitement dies down after the first 2 , im 16

    nice bird. I havent had any luck with my first turkey but this year better be a first. hopefully. My dad got one that was like that one. great hunt.

    Nice bird bud! I took my first spring gobbler in the spring of 2007. I love hunting turkeys.

    It’s held statewide in Pennsylvania. I think it’s held on April 18th this year. Good luck to you if you participate!

    where is this hunt held? i just passed my hunter safetey course and they where talking about it. is it held at the carlisle fish and game commision? or where.

    same thing happened to me last year on my youth hunt, i shot while it was in strut and took a few min. for it to expire. nice shot man im going tommorow hopefully i can get a nice bird like you did here

    Good video. Nice bird, too. Only piece of advice I would give you is if you’re in a blind with a black inside like that, you should wear black. The camouflage actually makes to stand out while inside the blind and so easier to get busted. Other than that, awesome hunt, good job!

    Heck of a video.. real nice hunt… listen to those other gobblers cluckin.. thats a great video.. only thing i’d say, and im sure you told ur son too, try not to shoot when it is in strut..
