I grew up hunting, only because it was my Dads thing to do. I didn’t even see it as a sport until I went turkey hunting, wow that was cool.

Tell me you experience with it.

Yes, it’s a big part of my life. I love deer hunting expecially in the snow which I don’t get to do anymore because I live down south now.

I really enjoy turkey hunting too!!! It’s definitely fun. I grew up (am still growing up:P) eating wild game much more than beef and stuff. I love the taste and since I’m used to it, find beef kind of blah. I haven’t been deer or elk hunting yet and I really want to try and get a bear. I do all bowhunting. Archery is a super big thing in my family. My grandpa and dad hunt (rifle and bow) so it’s a pretty big thing. I’m not really into trophy bucks or toms and the like, but I definitely think the meat is a benefit (speaking of which, a bit of advice for cooking your game turkey…weigh it after you have cleaned it up and got it ready for cooking and then cook it according to that weight. My dad weighed it before and cooked it that way and it got waay overcooked!)
