Ha. That would have been my whole season limit in Ontario!! Was that a shot from each gun or just one?? We can also only take one per day, seems like that rule is kind of outdated since they are here in record numbers now.

Nice job guys. Looks like you’ve been hunting together for a long time. Reminds me of my friend and I. Been hunting with him since I was 10. We got our birds the other day (opening day of the season).

not only do i love killing animals… cute ones if necessary,,, but after i kill them.. i fuck their brains out… but thats not before i drink their blood…. and urinate all over their corpse… mm…. i cant wait for rabbit season… god bless

I can’t help but be offended by the cowardice and weakness of character that it takes to be exhilarated in an outward way for killing something that is to be food. I mean unless you are starving why would you want to waste time, buy a bunch of gear, guns, and bullets just for the thrill of killing an animal? These people are in some way deficient of character. I can only kill animals or even people out of necessity, and that is done without malice or excitement.

Rifles are a legal method in some states, but I think most are limited to shotguns. In Missouri, legal methods are shotguns no larger than 10ga., and shot size no larger than #4.
I’ve been hunting turkey a long while, and wouldn’t give it up if I had to. I have a very tolerant wife in the springtime!

hunting turkeys with a rifle is mostly unreccomended.. a rifle round can do some serious damage to the body of the turkey, therefore wont be good eating.. unless you pull off an incredible head shot, which would be extremely difficult.. just use a shotgun, it will keep the meat safe..

  22. gpsland on January 29th, 2010 5:23 pm

no matter what occurs turky, i will find you…. just stay alive……….just stay alive…………

  23. FullmetalAngyl on January 29th, 2010 5:59 pm

No offence to the 930febcba intended, but that question got some snickers and even a snort out of me too! :D

I’m not a hunter and I’ve never heard of it being done, but can you hunt turkey with a rifle? I know they sell solid projectiles that are made to be used with shotguns, but I’ve only heard of going after turkey with shot.
